"Erm, you might wanna take a step back... my tail isn't exactly the nicest."

Physical appearance: Kailen is a rather small, cattish/fox-type creature that stands on two legs with dusky grayish/blue fur. He has deep, hollow black eyes with only a tiny slit of white for a pupil in each eye. He has two large ears with one a darker blue than his normal fur color and the other with only the tip of the ear colored dark blue. He has two upside down triangle markings under his eyes and two large, dark blue paws with sharp claws protruding from them. He normally walks and stands on two legs but if he is in danger and wishes to escape faster, he uses all fours. He also has a tail mouth that seems to have a mind of its own and enjoys biting others (and Kailen) who stand too close. It cannot speak or make any noises however.
Voice: A quiet, polite, yet reserved and almost inaudible voice that almost always contains no emotion. (Think Kuroko Tetsuya from Kuroko no Basuke)

Hobbies: Kailen enjoys humming to himself and talking to his tail if he is lonely (even though his tail is unable to respond and is a pretty crappy companion most of the time) He also enjoys sketching things in the ground with his claws. He likes to daydream and stare out into space whenever he's bored.
Personality: Kailen is always quiet and only speaks up if he is prompted to or has something urgent to say. He dislikes conflict, especially arguing, which is why he's learned how to think before he speaks. He's very poor company to hang around for fun though, as conversation always seems to die from his end. Kailen is rather patient and knows how to wait for things. If someone is talking to him and he deems the conversation boring or not worth listening to, he often tunes out and goes back to his own little world. It's also a bit hard to see what he's thinking since he almost always keeps the same blank expression on his face. Although his claws look a bit menacing, he would never hurt anyone unless they attempt to hurt him first. If someone brings up a topic that he finds relatively interesting, he will listen with rapt attention and even pitch in some of his own opinions and thoughts. Although Kailen appears to be timid, he does enjoy going on adventures and seeing new sights and new things and places. He wants to experience everything that he possibly can and expand his world.

One thing about his tail mouth is that it often acts like it has a mind of it's own and likes to disobey Kailen by not attacking at all if Kailen is in danger (unless he's on the brink of death) The tailmouth also enjoys biting his comrades if they stand too close to him, which greatly frustrates Kailen. Sometimes, Kailen will even find something to wrap around his tail mouth just to get it to stop disobeying him. Kailen uses his claws to tear apart flesh and give some pretty nasty cuts. When his tailmouth does decide to cooperate (which is rarely) it will often deliver a powerful bite to chomp up flesh. He can sometimes lose focus, even if he is under attack which is one of his worst drawbacks in battle.

He remained quiet as his bound up tail mouth flicked upwards, reminding him that it was still kind of alive and kind of living.

Even though Kailen's neck was beginning to hurt from staying in the same upturned position for what seemed like hours, he refused to tear his gaze away from the beyond; from the world that was calling out for him to explore. A sharp cracking sound from behind seemed to tear through his world and brought him crashing back into reality.
He quickly jumped up onto his two hindlegs and brought his claws up, all in one swift, fluid motion. His large black eyes narrowed slightly as he waited for whatever it was to show himself. Kailen's tailmouth gave a little snap of anticipation which Kailen chose to ignore. His ears swiveled around to try and pinpoint the location of the sound and to try and convince himself that what he heard wasn't a part of his imagination.
